During training; You are paid hourly. From the minute you start the first home until the minute you finish the last home. This is important as we want you to take your time learning and perfect your quality before moving on.
After training; Post training you have the ability to take on your own stock and clean at your own pace. Lathered prides itself on its pay scale and the ability to really have our values and integrity in line with how hard people are willing to work. Depending on your quality and leadership skills, you are able to make anywhere from $17 - $20 per TICKET HOUR.
TICKET HOURS: Each home is worth a certain amount of ticket hours. You will get paid the full amount of ticket hours based on each home.
I.e. My home is worth five ticket hours and normally takes about 4-5 ticket hours to clean. Never more than five. This means that if you are making $20/TH you will make $100 at my house no matter what. If you are capable of getting it down in 4 ticket hours this would mean you just made $100 in four hours = $25/hr worked.
Pros & Cons: There always are some but we have weighed them and took in all input. Our staff loves this way.
You do not! For training, you will meet your lead on site each day at least 15 minutes ahead of time and help them get all of the stock into the home. Once you hit a level 2 you will be required to carry your own stock (provided by Lathered) and will be able to go straight from your home to the job site each morning.
On that note, every Thursday, you will put in a stock order and must plan one trip to the office to pick up any stock that is needed for your supply.
Short answer; sometimes. Some of our staff prefer it and some like to keep in a group. Some of our easier houses are easier to tackle with one person due to their size and it cuts down on driving. Training time is always completed as a pair.
You will NEVER go to an initial or a move in/out clean by yourself. We like to be sure we know the client, the home and the pets involved before ever entering solo.
We set aside 5 days of training in which you are with one of our lead trainers each day. You will be invited into our members page where you will be able to see links to a new video each day (or watch them all at once if you are a keener!). We are very particular in the way we move throughout a home as we find efficiency in consistency. We have 1000's of clients throughout Alberta and not one that prefers one cleaner over another as they know they are getting a Lathered clean every time.
If you have cleaned before you are more than aware, driving is absolutely involved. While training, driving is paid between homes. You will take time in between homes to go over things with your trainer and we want to be sure you are not rushed.
After training, driving is not paid. You are paid for the ticket hours in a home and that normally allows for a little extra time on the road. This is also drastically cut down via our booking system, working solo and no added drives to the office before or after work. Going straight home can be a god-sent some days!
Lathered uses all natural cleaning supplies. After our COVID break of 2020 we ended up changing a lot of what we used and the way we used them. Sticking to keeping our minds, lungs and bodies safe was the ultimate goal.

We do carry a Health Spending Account to all of our full time workers once you have been here a minimum of 9 months.
Our goal is always to keep you as close to home as possible but sometimes the cards do not fall just as we would like them. Our biggest goal is to utilize you as close to home as possible and then keep you in that area so you are not all over the city. If you live in Airdrie and have to go to NW Calgary, we will keep you there for the day.
All schedules are done as ahead of time as possible and you can log into your Jobber account at any time (please do not download before we invite you in - makes it harder) to see your week, month or year. Please know that things change all the time and it does help if you keep an eye on your schedule as well. ALWAYS check it before you leave in the morning. If anything changes throughout the day, Jobber will notify you as such.
Booking time off: We do our best to fill your schedule but if you want to book something off, simply shoot the office and email request and we will always see what we can do! If you notice you are finished early the following week and would like to book a doctors appointment, just let us know and we will block it off. Otherwise, we are attempting to book it and will need you to work if it is booked.
